Wi-Fi 8 mesh systems from TP-Link and Asus arrive before the standard is finalized

TP-Link announced its Deco 8 Ultra mesh system in September 2026, and Asus previewed the ZenWiFi BN12; both are expected in stores within months. Wi-Fi 8 (IEEE 802.11bn) keeps the 46 Gbps ceiling of Wi-Fi 7 but targets Ultra-High Reliability with UEQM, Co-SR, Co-BF and NPCA.
