Utah AI Office Requires Signed Receipts for Sandbox Systems
Utah's Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy now requires vendors in its AI Learning Laboratory to issue cryptographically signed receipts under the OVERT standard for every covered AI safety check. The Glacis Technologies memorandum was signed August 10, 2026, for a 12-month term and announced October 5. A receipt proves a check ran but does not certify safety, effectiveness or legal compliance.
