AMD Ryzen 9 5900X3D prototype surfaces with 128MB of L3 cache

Screenshots of a Ryzen 9 5900X3D engineering sample for AM4 appeared on the Chinese Chiphell forum: 12 cores, 24 threads, 128MB of L3 cache (96+32MB) and clocks around 4.7GHz at 105W TDP. The chip never launched and required an older BIOS version 56.70.0 to boot.

• 12 cores and 24 threads: two six-core CCDs, like the 7900X3D and 9900X3D
• 3D V-Cache on one CCD only: 96MB and 32MB stacks
• Clocks around 4.7GHz, 100MHz below the Ryzen 9 5900X at 4.8GHz
• 105W TDP, boots only with BIOS version 56.70.0
