California executive charged in $300M AI server smuggling scheme to China
US prosecutors charged Greg Lui, 38, owner of Earthmade Computer Inc., with illegally shipping more than $300 million in export-controlled servers with high-end Nvidia GPUs to China in 2023–2024. The servers allegedly went through Malaysia and Singapore with falsified documents; Earthmade received over $176 million from two Malaysia-based firms between January and October 2024.
