Memory industry rakes in nearly half a trillion dollars in a year
The five largest memory and NAND suppliers — Kioxia, Micron, Samsung, SanDisk and SK Hynix — earned $483.7 billion over the past 12 months, nearly quadrupling revenues year over year. Demand for AI servers with HBM and DRAM is the main driver. If the supply imbalance persists to 2030, the industry could take in another $1.5 trillion.
