Intel Reportedly Limits Nova Lake DS Samples, Rollout Starts in December
According to leaker Jaykihn, Intel is distributing its Nova Lake chips with the internal "DS" designation to a much smaller group of testers. These dual-compute-tile SKUs carry the BFC suffix and a larger bLLC, such as the 28-core Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC (8P + 16E + 4LPE). The restricted sampling means almost no public benchmarks ahead of launch.
- Nova Lake DS chips go to a restricted testing group
- BFC-suffix SKUs use two compute tiles and larger bLLC
- Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC: 28 cores — 8P, 16E, 4LPE
- No public benchmarks yet, rollout expected in December
