Intel Core Ultra 4000 naming reportedly extends to Nova Lake-HX mobile chips
Leaker Jaykihn says Nova Lake-HX laptop processors will adopt the same four-digit Core Ultra 4000 naming as desktop chips, while H-series and suffix-less mobile parts keep the previous three-digit scheme. The claim follows a leaked list of seven Nova Lake-S desktop SKUs such as Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC, where BFC appears to denote big last-level cache. Intel has not confirmed the change, and reports point to an early 2027 launch.
