Fedora 45 Beta Drags the Linux Console Into the 21st Century

Fedora Linux 45 beta is out with kernel 7.2 and pre-release GNOME 51. The main change is replacing the legacy kernel console with kmscon: text scaling, more colors, and improved Unicode support. RPM, DNF5 are also updated, and Fedora Asahi Remix 45 beta adds support for Apple M3 chips.
