McKinsey: 80% see AI productivity gains, but only 37% see profit impact

In McKinsey's State of AI survey, about 80% of respondents reported productivity gains from AI, but only 37% saw an impact on profits and just 6% reported significant value of at least 5% of operating profit. Gartner warns that for some companies, tokens for coding assistants cost more than human developers.
