Cerebras stock climbs 6% after Sam Altman calls chipmaker a 'close partner'
Cerebras shares rose 6.3% in premarket trading to $177 after OpenAI CEO Sam Altman called the company a "close partner." The rebound follows a 20% drop last week when OpenAI said it would power GPT-6.1 Sol's Ultrafast mode with Nvidia GPUs instead of Cerebras chips.
