Valve's Pyrowave codec brings 1ms latency to Steam Remote Play
Valve launched the Pyrowave codec in beta for Steam Remote Play, using GPU-based encoding and decoding for input latency as low as 1 ms, with support for 4K HDR and YUV 444 color precision. It requires up to 500 Mbps, is available on Windows, macOS and Linux, and will expand to the Steam Link app for mobile and smart TVs.
