Pointer Index: cybersecurity hiring jumps 43% as AI reshapes tech jobs

Pointer Strategy's Pointer Index shows seven security vendors posted 180 unique job ads across Australia and New Zealand in the 90 days to 22 September, up 43% quarter-on-quarter. Check Point led with 42 ads (+133%), while enterprise software hiring fell sharply: SAP down 69%, Snowflake down 53%.
