Tesla targets 1,000 Optimus robots per week by year-end
Tesla aims to reach a production rate of 1,000 Optimus humanoid robots per week by the end of 2026 at its Fremont, California factory. Production began in August and is currently running at several hundred units a week. Sales at $20,000–30,000 are expected in late 2027, while a dedicated factory at Giga Texas targets 20,000 robots per week from summer 2027.
