Germany completes world's tallest wind turbine at nearly 1,200 feet
A pilot wind turbine by German firm GICON has reached its full height of 1,197 feet in Schipkau, making it Germany's second-tallest structure after Berlin's TV tower. The 3.8 MW unit is set for official commissioning in November, with future versions expected to exceed 7 MW.
