Anthropic's engineering team reported a 25x increase in CI job volume over six months, with engineers shipping about 8x more code per quarter than in 2021–2025. Linear said its test suite has nearly quadrupled since January, with agents writing most tests. Faster pipelines don't fix the core issue: verification still targets a repository, not the full distributed system.
