macOS 27 Golden Gate: The Ars Technica review

Ars Technica published its review of macOS 27 Golden Gate. The OS requires an Apple M1 chip or newer and is built entirely around Apple Intelligence, which can no longer be disabled; some new Siri and dictation features only work on the AFM 3 Core Advanced model.

• Golden Gate is first macOS without Intel Mac support, requires M1 or newer
• Apple Intelligence cannot be disabled and downloaded AI models cannot be removed
• AFM 3 Core Advanced requires M3 and 12GB RAM, does not work on M1/M2
• Update fixes design issues of macOS 26 Tahoe and speeds up the system
