A team of AWS developers has open-sourced Pizza Bot, a self-hosted Apache 2.0 app that runs AI agents in the background on schedules or webhooks and returns results through an email-style inbox. Agent state, attachments and logs stay on the user's machine, with support for multiple model providers, MCP servers and Agent Skills.
