AWS Deploys Production Agentic Tools in Vietnam at Cloud and AI Day Hanoi

At Cloud and AI Day Hanoi 2026, AWS introduced production-grade infrastructure for AI agents: microVM-isolated agent runtimes, an agentic legacy migration service, and a managed gateway for external tool connectivity. It is the first deployment of these tools on AWS's in-country infrastructure in Vietnam following the launch of the Hanoi Local Zone.

• AgentCore runs each agent session in a dedicated Firecracker-based microVM with isolated CPU, memory, and filesystem
• The runtime supports LangGraph, CrewAI, Strands Agents, and LlamaIndex with execution windows up to eight hours
• AgentCore Gateway acts as a managed MCP server with OAuth ingress and VPC egress for private resources
• The Hanoi Local Zone delivers single-digit millisecond latency and local data storage
