Google Bans Fake Bylines and AI-Generated Author Headshots

Google updated its content guidelines to explicitly forbid fabricated author profiles, including AI-generated headshots, fake names and false credentials. Sites using such deceptive authorship will no longer be prioritized in Search and Google News.
