GLP-1 Drugs Linked to Nail and Hair Side Effects
Two multinational studies presented at the EADV Congress 2026 found that GLP-1 receptor agonist users report more nail disorders, hair loss and scalp inflammation than controls. Nail detachment affected 39% of users versus 9% of controls.
