Musk: Robotaxi can't run at night because cameras miss pets in the dark
Tesla extended Robotaxi service in Austin to 11 PM from 10 PM. Musk said the limit is cameras struggling to spot animals at night — "grey kittens on grey tarmac" — a problem lidar and radar handle, which Tesla has removed from its cars.
