TSMC in talks to partner with Elon Musk's Terafab project

TSMC is considering joining Elon Musk's Terafab project to build advanced end-to-end chip manufacturing in the US. Musk confirmed talks on a joint venture where Terafab would provide funding, equity and purchase agreements while TSMC supplies technology. Intel has already partnered with Terafab, with Tesla as the first major customer for its 14A node.
