Claude Opus 5.5 generates video by writing animation as HTML code on Canvas, SVG, CSS, GSAP or Three.js, which a headless browser renders frame by frame into MP4. Of 475 public Opus 5.5 videos, about 60% are motion graphics, 80% are 16:9, and the median length is 30 seconds. Video isn't mentioned on the model's announcement page — creators discovered the use themselves.
