Vibe-coded mashup mods flood X after Claude Opus 5.5 decompilation wave

Since Claude Opus 5.5 launched last week, X/Twitter has been flooded with hundreds of AI-made mashup mods built by decompiling games: WoW mixed with Call of Duty, Escape From Tarkov with Skyrim, Spider-Man with Batman Arkham City. Mod authors call the trend "AI slop," and the mods have yet to appear on Nexus Mods due to asset rights.
