GrayKey reportedly bypasses iOS Inactivity Reboot protection
Magnet Forensics, maker of the GrayKey iPhone-cracking device, has developed a workaround for Apple's Inactivity Reboot feature, which restarts an iPhone after 72 hours without unlocking. The new GrayKey Preserve device keeps the phone in the less secure After First Unlock state and recovers data iOS normally purges.
