WhatsApp tests Restricted chat to block AI agents and unofficial clients

WhatsApp is testing a Restricted chat feature that replaces Advanced Chat Privacy. In these chats the other person cannot auto-save media, export the conversation, use Meta AI or access messages from linked devices, limiting unofficial clients and AI agents. The feature is rolling out to select Android beta testers.
