Android 17 adds six Advanced Protection features against spyware
Google expanded Advanced Protection in Android 17 with six features. Intrusion Logging records security and network events, including app activity and Chrome Incognito tabs, encrypts logs end-to-end and stores them for 12 months on Google servers it says it cannot read. USB Protection, AccessibilityService restrictions, WebGPU disabling in Chrome and Failed Authentication Lock were also added.
