Cambricon ex-CTO raises equity claim to US$4.15 billion

Former Cambricon Technologies deputy general manager and CTO Liang Jun has raised his equity compensation claim from CNY4.29 billion (US$640 million) to CNY27.83 billion (US$4.15 billion). The dispute over the former executive's stake in the Chinese AI chipmaker has sharply escalated.
