Hubble Marks 200,000th Orbit by Watching Lensed Supernova
On September 19, the Hubble Space Telescope completed its 200,000th orbit of Earth, having traveled over 8 billion km and logged more than 1.7 million observations. That day it observed galaxy cluster MACS J0417, 4.65 billion light-years away, to reacquire supernova Athena first found by JWST last year.
