Tesla updates Shanghai-built Model 3 and Model Y with V2L, 16-inch screen

Giga Shanghai has begun building Model 3 and Model Y with bidirectional V2L charging, an all-black headliner, a 16-inch display and the Zen Gray interior replacing Black and White. Deliveries in China, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea start in Q4 2026; existing cars cannot be retrofitted with V2L.

• V2L uses an outlet adapter in the charge port to power devices from the battery
• Model 3 screen grows from 15.4 to 16 inches with higher pixel density
• Zen Gray interior replaces Black and White on Model 3 Premium and Performance
• A base single-motor Model 3 launched in Australia and New Zealand
