DraftKings uses AI to target ads at losing bettors
According to reports from The New York Times and the EFF, DraftKings uses machine learning on customers' betting records to identify losing and problem gamblers and serve them bonus-bet promotions. Six former employees said the company also shelved efforts to predict gambling addiction. In Ontario, such targeted ads may violate AGCO rules.
