Nike Apex debuts double-stacked Air Zoom and new FlyPlate for marathoners

Nike unveiled the Apex marathon racing shoe, the first to feature double-stacked Air Zoom units in the forefoot. It pairs ZoomX LT foam with a redesigned carbon-fibre Flyplate and Flyknit X upper, delivering up to 40% more energy return while being 10% lighter than the Alphafly. The Apex launches in January 2027, with pricing yet to be announced.
