Microsoft: UK faces most state-sponsored cyberattacks in Europe

Microsoft's new report says the UK is Europe's most targeted country for nation-state and geopolitical cyber activity, with 76 observed events in the past year, and ranks fifth globally for cyber threats to customers at 3.8% of activity. AI has compressed the attack lifecycle from days to minutes, phishing rose from 7% to 23% of incident-response intrusions, voice phishing jumped 502%, and ransomware detections climbed 50% in the US, 276% in Germany and 66% in the UK.
