Gears of War: E-Day is an unusually CPU-heavy Unreal Engine 5 game

Benchmarking 25 Intel and AMD CPUs shows Gears of War: E-Day pushes CPUs to 80–90% utilization and scales strongly with core count. At 1080p High, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D beat the Ryzen 5 7600X by 42%, while the gap between the 9800X3D and 9600X grew from 6.8% on Ludicrous to nearly 29% on Ultra.

• 9800X3D vs 9600X gap: 6.8% on Ludicrous, ~29% on Ultra
• Going from 6 to 8 cores yields up to 9% instead of the usual 5%
