Matternet unveils M3 drone delivery system for food and cargo up to 11 pounds

Matternet announced its M3 delivery system: a drone carrying up to 11 pounds within a 10-mile radius, with docks and drop-box portals installed at restaurants, retailers, and hospitals. Dave's Hot Chicken is the first U.S. partner, with commercial service planned for the second half of 2027 and a U.K. rollout next year.
