Blizzard rolls back StarCraft 2's massive 2026 redesign in patch 5.0.17

Blizzard has pushed StarCraft 2 patch 5.0.17 to the PTR, reverting almost all balance changes from the May 5.0.16 overhaul, including the starting worker count shift from 12 to 8. The developer admitted too many changes shipped without enough feedback and says a new approach is already in the works.
