Survey: 93% of Drivers Distracted by Car Touchscreens

An AutoSense survey of New Zealand drivers found 93% with touchscreens were distracted behind the wheel, 22.9% frequently. About 49% preferred physical controls versus 6% for touchscreens. Euro NCAP, ANCAP and China's MIIT are moving to mandate physical buttons.
