Mercedes signs deal to put Wayve AI Driver in cars within 2 years

Mercedes-Benz has signed a definitive production agreement with UK self-driving startup Wayve to integrate its AI Driver into future vehicles, with deployment starting within two years. Mercedes previously invested in Wayve's $1.5 billion Series D, which valued the company at $8.6 billion.

• AI Driver runs without HD maps or geofences, learning from data
• System integrated into Mercedes' MB.OS and hardware architecture
• Trained on Nvidia infrastructure running on Microsoft Azure
• Mercedes also runs Drive Pilot L3 and Nvidia Alpamayo L2+ stacks
