Toyota dropped a 1,675 lb caravan on its electric Hilux, and it drove off

Toyota recreated Top Gear's 2003 caravan drop test on its electric Hilux BEV, dropping a 760 kg caravan 30 feet onto the truck's roof. The pickup started up and drove off with only body damage. It is Toyota's first electric pickup, with up to 257 km of WLTP range and a UK starting price of £42,170.
