Efinix launches Sapphire RV64 64-bit RISC-V soft SoC for FPGAs

Efinix introduced Sapphire RV64, a configurable 64-bit RISC-V soft SoC for its Trion and Titanium FPGAs. It offers up to 512 KB of on-chip RAM, L1/L2 caches, a DDR3/HyperRAM/LPDDR4x controller at up to 3,200 Mbps, and Linux support via an SV39 MMU.

• Seven-stage pipeline with RISC-V64IM ISA and optional A, F, D, C, Zba, Zbb, Zbs, Zicbom extensions
• Up to 512 KB on-chip RAM, multi-way L1 caches and optional L2 cache
• DDR3, HyperRAM and LPDDR4x controller at up to 3,200 Mbps for AI workloads
• Linux support via SV39 MMU and native FPGA co-debug
