OpenStack Hibiscus adds DNS security and confidential computing

OpenStack 2026.2 Hibiscus reaches general availability on Sept. 30, with about 600 contributors delivering 11,500 code changes. Designate fixes the OSSA-2026-034 cross-tenant zone hijacking flaw and adds DANE and split-horizon DNS, while Nova gains AMD SEV-SNP and Intel TDX hardware protection for VMs.
