Microsoft Fabric IQ becomes the context layer for AI agents
At its FabCon and SQLCon conference in Barcelona, Microsoft said Fabric IQ now feeds Microsoft 365 Copilot by default, while external agents can query it over MCP. It also announced two-way integration with Salesforce Data Cloud 360, BigQuery mirroring in GA, the dbt Fusion engine and mirrored security roles.
