Perseverance finds evidence of three water episodes in Jezero Crater

A study in Communications Earth & Environment reports that instead of expected sedimentary rocks, NASA's Perseverance rover found igneous rocks in Jezero Crater's Margin Unit that were altered by water at least three times. SuperCam studied over 185 targets across 265 meters of elevation.
