DYNA Robotics unveils DYNA 2.1 humanoid that does laundry unattended
California-based DYNA Robotics launched DYNA 2.1, a physical agent that loads washers and dryers, folds towels and sorts them into stacks without human help. The robot is being deployed in hotels, laundromats and restaurants, and its DYNA 2 world action model was trained on one million hours of human and robot data.
- DYNA 2.1 turns on washers and dryers and pulls towels from the back of the drum
- It folds towels, sorts them by size and places stacks on high and low shelves
- The DYNA 2 world action model was trained on 1 million hours of human and robot data
- Performance is measured by Mean Time Between Interventions (MTBI)
