Yansyn-X2 humanoid robot can cry on command

China's Yanxi Technology demonstrated the Yansyn-X2 at the 2026 Inclusion Conference in Shanghai, where the robot shed a single tear on request. A three-layer system analyzes conversational context, shifts facial features on its silicone face and dispenses tears via a microfluidic system. The current unit is static; future versions will use bionic muscles instead of servos.
