Dell: Quantum Computing Becomes an Engineering Problem by 2028-2029

Dell CTO John Roese said enough error-corrected logical qubits for the first real workloads, mainly molecular optimizations, will arrive by 2028-2029. McKinsey data shows $12.6 billion went into quantum startups last year, while Dell, HPE, Cisco and IBM build infrastructure for hybrid quantum-classical HPC datacenters.
