n8n Agents brings standalone AI assistants to no-code automation

n8n has launched n8n Agents in preview, adding standalone AI agents that sit alongside workflows rather than inside them. Builders describe an outcome in plain language, pick a model, connect tools, channels, memory and knowledge, and the agent decides the steps. It is available in preview on n8n Cloud for the latest stable version, with self-hosting requiring extra setup.
