Airbus flies its new A350F freighter with giant cargo door for the first time

Airbus completed the maiden flight of its A350F freighter, based on the A350 passenger jet, lasting 4 hours 10 minutes and reaching 25,000 feet. It carries 109 tonnes of payload versus 64 tonnes for the A330F, and its 4.3-metre door can fit a turbofan engine. Customers have ordered 115 A350Fs.
