Maynooth researchers build DNA computer with 700 computations

Researchers at Maynooth University led by Dr Abeer Eshra built a scaffolded DNA computer that ran 10 programs and over 700 computations, including multiplication, division and adding two 25-bit numbers (100 bits). Small computations finish in under a minute, and the system can be reset and reused.
