OpenAI launches ChatGPT Meetings plugin for macOS

OpenAI unveiled the beta Meetings plugin at DevDay on September 29, 2026, in the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS. It captures online and in-person meetings via the Mac's microphone and system audio, generates a personalized summary with action items, and deletes the audio once notes are ready. It is available on Pro and Business plans, with Windows, iOS and Android support coming soon.
